About Vizag Zoo Park

Everybody wants to visit the zoo. One such zoological park that has everything to make it one of the great spots to visit in Vizag is the Indira Gandhi Zoological Park.

Encircled by the Eastern Ghats on three sides and set in the laps of the Kambalakonda Forest Reserve this park is spread over a lavish 625 sections of land and is home to just about 80 types of natural life, making it one of the biggest zoological stops in Andhra Pradesh.

With the Bay of Bengal close by, the area of this park makes it a perfect spot for recognizing a few colorful fledgling animal varieties as well. The climate and the climatic states of this region have permitted the fauna in the zoo to prosper and make a salubrious home for the creatures.

This zoological park was named after the previous Prime Minister of India and was opened for guests on nineteenth May 1977. From that point forward it has been one of the favored goals of guests who love to see untamed life in their characteristic natural surroundings. There is even a smaller than expected train inside the recreation center to see the entirety of its premises.
